Hector Football Club
Hollywoodbets Korsten chose Hector Football Club as their soccer team of choice to sponsor, as part of Hollywoodbets' Social Responsibility Programme. They donated brand new soccer kit for the youths.
The aim of the club is to keep children off the street and prevent them from drug and alcohol abuse. They want to assist the SAPS to fight and prevent crime.
When we visited the team to donate the kit, they were busy practicing in their own clothing on a field that is demolished. Despite the poor conditions, you can see these children have dreams! Poverty is really surrounding these kids, but their vision is to play football at the highest level!
Hector Football Club lives for soccer, and are doing a great job in keeping these scholars on the football pitch and away from drugs.
The president, chairman, secretary and the rest of the HFC were very thankful for this donation. They were full of smiles, and thanked each and every team member of Hollywoodbets.
We could hear the sincerity in their voices for what Hollywood has done for them. They had been looking for sponsorship for so long, but their voices were unheard. They are so grateful that someone answered their message. They said "God bless you guys in abundance!"
We as a team would like to thank Hollywoodbets for granting us the opportunity to help our people that live in poverty. This really made us realize to be thankful for what we have.
We as the Hollywoodbets Korsten team will not end here with our good deeds we will strive to continue helping this soccer team and others with fund raising.
