Hollywoodbets Jeffrey's Bay
Wits FC
Hollywoodbets Jeffrey's Bay chose Wits FC as their soccer team of choice to sponsor, as part of Hollywoodbets' Social Responsibility Program.
On 16 January 2014, our Jeffrey's Bay branch did our soccer kit handover to Wits Football Club.
The team was established in 1989 by Mr. J. Mpisana. He started the soccer team because at the time there was only one football club and a Rugby club. His aim was to eliminate crime among the youth. The team is currently playing under KOUGA League.
We arrived on their field and the coach welcomed us with warm hands. He then led us to his team members who were waiting patiently for what we had to offer them! We handed out the soccer kits and the boys were so excited and thankful for their new kits.
The boys changed into their brand new kits immediately and they looked stunning! Derek (one of our Hollywoodbets Team Member) then gave a speech to uplift the team, telling them to always strive to succeed and always aim for more! They must aim so high, that one day they will play in the PSL!
