The Hollywoodbets Oudtshoorn team had the great pleasure to donate a soccer kit to the United Stars football club.

The United Stars Football Club started as an initiative to keep the youth off the streets. They are a small community in Dysseldorp, just outside Oudtshoorn.  The United Stars Football Club assists children in building social and life skills while at the same time providing exercise, fun, and a source of pride for being part of the United Stars Football Club.

We took some photos in front of the Hollywoodbets Oudtshoorn shop where we were thanked for Hollywoodbets' involvement in growing the Oudtshoorn community.

Team Mossel Bay got in the giving mood and made our way to the Future Stars FC training grounds.

We eventually got to an old rugby ground that was packed with eager smiles from left to right. This had to be what we were looking for! As we got out of the vehicle, the Future Stars rushed to the car, mesmerized by the occasion. After the formalities we handed over the soccer kits & the Stars couldn’t wait to get into their new clothes, each eager for a picture.

The whole Future Stars FC team thanked Hollywoodbets and promised they’ll let us know of future matches, sporting their new Hollywoodbets sponsored kits. The whole experience was very heart-warming and the entire Mossel Bay team felt good about reaching out to their community.

This team was formed by some officials of the local radio station 15 years back and it consists of 5 different divisions, under 9, 11, 15, 17 and senior division.

They won the local league twice in a row. Their aim is to keep on grooming the best players in our province. Some of the former players are now playing for Ajax Cape Town.

This soccer team is based in a township called Khayelitsha and is regarded as the pride of the area, as they are the current champions in the Khayelitsha football association.

In the next soccer season they will be representing the Khayelitsha local football association in the promotional soccer league that consists of the winners in all Western Cape LFAs. They have age groups in under-11, 15, 19 and first team.

Newton Park delivered Chatty FC’s soccer kit. They are an under-13 team who play at the Bethelsdorp Police Station grounds.

It was our first actual charity handover event and the first time that Hollywoodbets sponsored the Northern Areas. On our arrival the coach of the under-13 team received us with a very warm welcome.

He took us through to where the kids were practicing. It was so awesome to see such young boys enjoying themselves on the field and loving it. We handed them their new uniforms and they were so excited, they could not wait to put it on. They were so happy and joyful with such big smiles on their faces. It was such a great experience for me and my team to see the children so excited and running around in their new Hollywoodbets kit. I could see that the coach really cares about these boys like they were his own. That is so rare and something that you don’t see very often.

Friday was a very happy moment for these children as well as their coach and their organization. Chatty FC is one of the many organizations in the Northern areas and they are well known for what they do. For me personally I would like for us here at Hollywoodbets to sponsor Chatty FC again, I could not think of a better organization and one that are so deserving but at the same time very humble. Once again Hollywoodbets touched a few children’s lives with their generosity. Thank you to the management Mureed/ Shardia Jacobs/Nashreen Jack that received us with open arms, we hope that you and the team will enjoy your new kit.

We sponsored Mthatha City FC. We left the branch and arrived there and they welcomed us with warm hands.

We then took out our soccer kit and gave it to them and they were happy. They said they used to borrow a kit when playing against other teams and it was their first time receiving such a gift from any company so the Hollywoodbets Mthatha branch made their day.

They also begged us to come and watch when they are playing and as a team we promised them we would. We even realised that they don’t have transport to go and play outside the town and they were very happy when we took the pictures with them .They were also thankful to the company.

Team Quigney did a hand over of Hollywood Sportsbook sponsored soccer kits to the Duncan Brothers Football Club. Present was Mr. K. Vishile (President) and Mr. S. Neti (Secretary).

The club was established in 1992 and the aim is to develop and empower the youth by involving them in soccer and to keep them away from drugs and alcohol.

The whole team was super excited and even some of their family members were present when we did the hand over. They are very grateful for this wonderful blessing.
