Hollywoodbets Parow chose AC Zabalaza as their club of choice for Hollywoodbets' Soccer Sponsorship Programme. The Hollywoodbets team talks about the club.
AC Zabalaza is a team from Pakamisa in Khayelitsha. They have been playing in local leagues from inception in 2013. Their main objective is to get youngsters off the streets and according to their books and personal experience they have done an incredible job! AC Zabalaza focuses on a variety of sports for a variety of different age groups ranging from 18 - 35 years. The sports on offer include soccer, boxing, volleyball and athletics. They really strive to do their utmost to get these young people into shape and to keep them occupied.
Hollywoodbets has taken a great interest in this club, mainly because we would like to help them help others. On 27 February 2015 we gave the team a full soccer kit. The entire team could not make it due to school and work duties but they definitely appreciated the kit!
