Hollywoodbets Vasco chose Kalksteenfontein FC as their club of choice for Hollywoodbets' Soccer Sponsorship Programme. The Hollywoodbets team talks about the club.
Kalksteenfontein was established in 1992 when two clubs from the North (Clover) and South (Ideal) merged. The idea was to have sports meetings and healthy competition between the north and south to help reduce gang fights. Since then the rural area of Kalksteen has been calm but not completely crime free.
Their goal is to focus on youth and to keep them involved in sports, which has been successful as most of these kids are from broken homes and the team has become a happy family.
Hollywoodbets decided to help this team to achieve their goal with the young children as well as teenagers. The team gathered to accept our donation, which they appreciated very much.
