Hollywoodbets Argyle chose Crusaders FC as their team of choice for Hollywoodbets' Soccer Sponsorship Programme. The Hollywoodbets team talks about the club.
Crusaders FC was formed in 2001 at AA section, Umlazi Township, initiated by Themba Tembe. The team caters for 4 divisions (Under-13, Under-15, Under- 17 and an open league) and they are all coached by the team’s former player (Lindani Nsele).
Crusaders FC develop young stars from the age of 10 years and aims at feeding the professional league in the near future. The team has won 15 league titles and won 16 cup competitions.
Their vision is to see a sport orientated generation within the township, and they believe that the soccer kit sponsored will be a driving force behind the young stars as all the divisions share the only kit they currently have. There is a high need for other training material, especially soccer balls.
